HONG KONG, FEB 14-() Government has announced to approve three free television station licenses in the coming future (and-end sentence here) global media specialist (name) shows support, as the competition between new stations can induce better pilot shows production.

“The more the choices of television channels, the better the programmes’ quality,”said Ho Yuet-fung, a seasoned media specialist.

Ho said there are only two local public television stations, namely TVB and ATV, and the competition between (pronoun) is not significant, letting the stations run with rigid routine and less creativity.

She mentioned that the audience size of the local television stations is expanding, as more mainland television viewers can receive the digital signal from Hong Kong.

“() Local population is growing and mainlanders tend to have greater interest in watching Hong Kong television programmes, thus there are opportunities for more investors (use infinitive of join) joining the local television competition,” said Ho.

Ho took the hot debated television pilot show “When Heaven Burns”, which is famous for the scriptwriters’ courage and initiative in introducing novel content and plot into the show, as an example of good production.(good)

She mentioned that “When Heaven Burns” includes scene of (human eating human-use one word) during a hiking after avalanche, and the scene is very (catchy-used for songs usually) and new to the other comparable productions.

She encourages other stations to do more interesting and alternative programmes like “When Heaven Burns”, and show it out of the peak viewing time, when allows producers to show more explicit and extreme plots.(why not? reason why she objects to showing at peak time should be included)

Good flow and use of examples. Simply check grammar mistakes to avoid making the same ones over and over again.
