Medium keep changing every generation, but still exist.

“Not people cannot live without media, is media cannot leave this world,” said Wong Ho Pan, lecturer in Creative Design and Media Production at Hong Kong College of Technology.

He said it’s fine for people to work for more than one job in the current situation. For example, a worker expected salary is HK$23000 for the first job, he can post videos ok YouTube and open online shop on Instagram to earn money.

“But media platforms will change all the time, and media never disappear,” Wong said at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. He said social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram cannot last forever. “Within ten years, there will be other new platforms,” he said.

Wong is going to help primary school students chasing their own dreams. “I will help them to start their own businesses,” he said. He launched ‘HoHo Van’ to do a multifunctional mobile shop.

“We can shoot videos and upload on social media to draw attention,” he said. Some celebrities who are the parents of students can attract media promotions. He said the campaign sponsored by GoGo Van successfully, and it will start in March.

“Responsibilities are more important than abilities,” Wong said. He said students may don’t want to do their jobs and disappear. “Students may think people will not find them anymore,” he said, “but the world is too small, don’t destroy yourself image”.

Wong took part in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE). He got 9 marks and didn’t get into Hong Kong Universities. He went to Canada study films in university but his parents against. He cried and persist in studying films, and parents let him go.
