(You have bundled your lead and your story together into one paragraph and that's no way to write a news report. First you have to think of a lead and then let the story develop around it with examples and quotations. You actually have a keen sense in hunting down your news lead but you have to also structure your report to make it more readable and interesting.)

Newspaper will vanish in 10 years

Tim Chan, Executive Chief Editor of Hong Kong Economic Journal predicted that the newspaper industry in Hong Kong might only last for only 10 more years from an optimistic viewpoint at Hong Kong Shue Yan University today. Chan believed that today’s technology such as cell phones and tablets have been substitutes of the physical form of newspaper, which might lead to the dying of the industry globally. Nonetheless Chan held a positive attitude towards the news industry as the demand of news and information had multiplied in the past decade. ‘This is the era for news-making. The demand of news has reached the highest ever,’ Chan said. He continued that newspaper will vanish in physical form but not for the news content.
