(The theme of your story is that One TV would not run news reports that is critical of the Chinese government but will objectively report social news in China. Your job should elaborate on the dilemma because it would be just impossible to achieve. Also, what you called "outside borders' television station" is actually known as non terrestral TV station.)

A News Director admitted they would censor the news and never report news that would challenge the regime of China, when attending a university speech.

Chen Jane, the Channel Director and News Director of One TV, explained as a outside borders' television station, there were satellites which covered Chinese regions even though One TV was not run in China.

"So we won't cover news that defied the Chinese political power and commentary programmes that against the Chinese political system either," Chen added," but we will report the Chinese current social phenomenon with an objective angle."

Recently, a Hong Kong reporter was beaten by some security guards when interviewed some pro-democracy activists in China. For sensitive political news like this, Chen said One-TV would cover this kind of news as long as it was a fact.

"As a conscience media, we do things with an aims hoping our country develop toward a better direction and reporters have a better and safer environment to interview," Chen said.

Chen Jane used to be a programme director and host of Radio Television Hong Kong's Putonghua channel for 14 years. She is now the Channel Director and News Director of One TV, a non-domestic television station which established in 2011.
