Hong Kong - Chief executive hopeful Henry Tang Ying-yen's confessed that he has "strayed" in his love life, some players in the PR industry think Tang’s approach to the problem was clever. However, some scholars think Tang lacks political savvy, and said Tang is not qualified to be the chief executive.

Esme Lau, the media and community public affairs manager of Power Assets Holdings Ltd., attended the general assembly of Hong Kong Shue Yan University this afternoon, and appreciate Tang did not say much on his past love life problem.

“As a PR professional, I think Tang's reaction was clever, sometimes confessing is not the best option,” said Lau. She explained, this affair does not only involve Tang, but his whole family as well, therefore, Tang (better not to add too much words-edit, awkward phrasing).

However, Professor Leung Tin-wai, the head of Journalism and Communication department in HKSYU, said Tang is not qualified to be the chief executive. He explained that Tang faces(vt) the same issue as Edmund Ho Hau-wah, the chief executive of the Macau and Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States, but Ho’s and Clinton’s explanation were much better than Tang’s.

In Ho’s case, he actively admitted that he did betray his wife one to two times, “I’m not a sage like Jesus, but my wife still supports me, I am really grateful for my wife.” (Thank you for describing his response! Makes your article more sound-what about Bill?)

“After Ho (said out the fact?-edit what do you mean-confessed?), no one asks(vt) Ho about the scandal again,” said Leung, and he thinks if Tang can use Ho’s method to explain his betrayal, it would be much better. “It proves that Tang lacks political wisdom.”(already mentioned political wisdom earlier)

"I have strayed in my love life, and I feel deeply remorseful and guilty," said the 59-year-old Tang in his statement. But he refused to answer any questions on his marriage scandal.

Your news angle is focused, and introduced in the first paragraph, however the reader might wonder why Prof. Leung is quoted here, is he a resident expert on electoral candidates? From your title, his contribution appears to be a bit random, however I appreciated that you provided Ho's response-although it is a bit similar to Tang's, did Ho answer specific questions about his affair?
