Palace Museum 'exhibition' in Central is a adverisment

The managing director of JCDecaux Pearl & Dean ltd said the campaign launched between the Central and Hong Kong MTR stations, which government claimed are exhibition, was a advertising.

The government did not conduct consultations or give out any information about the building a Palace Museum in West Kowloon before former Chief Secretary Carrie Lam announced to consult citizen. Hong Konger blamed that government used HK$1.58m to promote Palace Museum is waste of public fund.

Shirly Chan, the managing director of JCDecaux Pearl & Dean ltd thought that the campaign was absolutely a promoting channel as she sold advertising position to customers.

She said that the advertisement had been censored by professional advertising practitioners.

Chan said, government borrowed some historical relics from Imperial Palaces Museum and showed them to citizen. Government can clearly show the message to the public.
