Politicians should face the criticism from citizens

By Eunice Ng, 1st November, 2016

An experienced public relations consultant said a politician should have the ability to face the criticism as everyone has rights to criticize the politician.

Lotus Choi, a Consultant of AWTC (Lo & Lam) Consultancies Ltd, said politicians should accept the negative comments from citizens and give response to the public. Politicians should gain the reputation through giving the response to the public.

Choi took Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying and UGL controversy as an example.

Leung Chun-ying involved UGL controversy and he needed to face the criticism from citizens. Choi said Leung Chun-ying should afford the criticism and his PR team should help him how to build the positive image among the public.

Comment Not bad.
