Power Assets state that they will provide good service and keep improving themselves so it is worth it for the user to pay more, according to their PR manager, Esme Lau.

Two power companies have long been criticized for keeping increasing the fee even though they get high revenue every year. Many Hong Kong Island's residents also question why they have to pay more for electricity than the residents in the New Territories and Kowloon.

Lau argues that the areas that the two companies provide service for are different. They have different situations and property values, so it is not fair to compare the fee between two companies.

Even though Power Assets has higher fees and has increased the fee several times in recent years, Lau is confident that the company could still appreciate their customer, "We provide high quality of services."

"We are not just charging high fees and doing nothing. Actually, we use our revenue to do many community service projects. For example, we organize care for the elderly and underprivileged teenagers education campaign. One of our core values is "caring" and we will continue to get involved in community service," she explained.

Lau added that Power Assets keeps improving their quality in different ways, and she believes her customers would thus think that the fee is reasonable and worthwhile. "Every time we receive reports about electricity problems, our system records the call's incoming time and the time that our engineer arrives at the spot. Therefore, we can monitor our efficiency", she said. [Efficient is an adjective, it needs to modify something, as found in 'efficient service'. Efficiency is the noun.]

Moreover, the company would also strictly follow the obligations stated in their license, especially on the pollutant emission issue. Lau stated that they have measures to manage the pollutant exhaust and keep it at a reasonable level.

      • Actually Dr. Leung' comment on Henry Tang is more interesting, but i am worry that if I cover this, I will be off topic! Could yoou give me some advice on this?"

[Absolutely! You did right in not covering Leung's comment. The focus of your story has to follow the headline, and you did. Switching to talk about Henry Tang would have been awkward and inappropriate; if you wanted to talk about Tang, that should have been your headline instead. Great job on the article, overall.]
