Press freedom in China keeps moving on

“Compared to limited freedom of press during the June Fourth Movement, the situation in China now are getting better [how so?], and I believe the step of improvement would not end up,” said David Schlesinger, the Chairman of Thomson Reuters China.

Schlesinger pointed out that lots of China local newspapers are now trying to report some sensitive and fearless news about government scandal. However, he thinks there are still many restrictions [what are the restrictions?] in reporting, so China is still a hard place to do journalism.

He said the website of reuters.cn has been banned in China because Reuters insists their press belief that they would report the truth only. Therefore some sensitive contents unsettle the Chinese government. He reminded the reporters to be careful when they do news reporting in China [careful in what ways?].

[A very brief summary that does not address fundamental questions.]
