Albert J. Cheng, founder of Digital Broadcasting Corporation Hong Kong Limited, said his new online radio channel D100 serves Chinese people all over the world, adding that "we aim to provide information to our audience through internet broadcasting, which serves as a effective distribution platform".

After DBC was off air, Cheng formed D100.

“Internet provides media a great survival opportunity,” Cheng said. “The space for development in the internet is unlimited.” Real time and interaction, attributes of radio, can be reached through the Internet platform.

D100 will develop a new English and a Putonghua Channel in the coming year, which facilitates the Chinese audience from places like California and America. It has also highly invested on the visual-audio high-tech equipment, in order to provide the best radio services with visual.
