People say “Traveling outside rather than reading inside,” In Lee Shun-yan’s point of views, this common saying is modified into “Reading inside before traveling outside,” Lee likes traveling. He has a lot of experiences on traveling and writing, He also is an active writer who writes books and articles on the newspaper.
Lee encourages younger to go traveling. But what is the most difficult problem of traveling to younger? It‘s not surprise that is lack of money. This question recalled Lee’s memory, in his age of eighteen, when Lee was studying in Shanghai, Lee earned living as a labour and gained only 17.84 RMB per month, Lee saved his money (about 20 RMB) to travel with four friends. In Lee’s journey, they had to stay in a hostel room had no beds to sleep. Although the living condition is quite poor, Lee enjoyed that because he thinks traveling can widen one’s horizon, and is a precious life experience, and build up a critical mind.
Lee shared his traveling experiences, “There are 3 things must prepare before traveling, Panadol, cotton brief and the mood of traveling,” said Lee. He explained that the mood of traveling is most important; it includes searching the information of the places, and preparing an emergency measure before you go.
Talking about traveling in Japan, Lee thinks the GPS system of Japan’s Taxis is convenient. “Travelers do not need to know Japanese; the only thing they need to know is the phone number of destinations, when the number is inputted, the system will lead you go,’ said Lee. He also praised the conveyance system in Japan, “Japan’s roads and highways are safety,’ said Lee. On the other hand, Lee said the car renting services in Japan is more mature than in China.
