Regina Ip is processing to be a candidate of CE election

The skirmish of Chief Executive has started, Regina Ip, the chairperson New People's Party, is believed to be one of competitors. She reiterated that being one of the candidates of the election has to well prepared, once everything is ready, she will make it public.

Speaking at a student assembly in Shue Yan University on Tuesday, Ip mentioned that the nomination period will started from 14th February, and time is needed to prepare and deploy her election works.

Frequently, elections bring scandal and negative information to the candidates. Ip said that she does not afraid of it, and there is nobody could find any materials that are unfavorable to her so far. “In case there is any detrimental information, it should have uncovered before.” said by Ip.

“I do not want to see and I will not let Hong Kong go downhill” Ip mentioned if she is elected, she will handle the land supply and housing problems in a very first priority. She also proposed Hong Kong government have to own a land bank, in order to provide sustainable and balance supply in housing to ease the problems.

The race for the next CE has begun in earnest. Regina Ip, chairperson of NPP and one of the hopefuls, said she was making full preprations for the contest, but added a final decision would only be made afer the EC election on Dec 10.

Speaking at a student assembly in Shue Yan University on Tuesday, Ip said the nomination period for the CE election will begin on 14th February. "There're still plenty of time. I am making full comparations now. Election manifestor, platform, publicity..."

Asked if she feared about smearing campaign against her, Mrs Ip said she was not worried. "No one is able to find any negative materials about me o far. If there are, they would have already been exposed."

Mrs Ip maintained she was capable and determined of taking up the top post.

“I do not want to see and I will not let Hong Kong go downhill” She said she would tackle land supply and housing problems as her first priority. She aid HK should set up a land bank to reserve land to provide sustainable and steady supply for housing development. .
