Ricky Picks Out Talents From Universities

By Winnie Wu

Hong Kong, Feb. 21 - Ricky Wong Wai Kay, Chairman of City Telecom (H.K.) Limited, accompanied with his working group, including script supervisors and directors who worked in Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), to Hong Kong Shue Yan University (x) picking out graduates to be creative trainees, production assistant and actors.

“Attitude is most important. We are looking for hard-working trainees,” said Ricky Wong, Chairman of City Telecom Limited.

Wong revealed that they will go to Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong afterward and pick out about 120 to 150 potential graduates (to be+pick=grammar error-change to similar verb) creative trainees, production assistant and actors in total.

Graduates from different universities were attracted to the talk. A boy was singing in the question and answer section, and Wong appreciated his courage.

Wong thought that talents are treasures. There will be 1070 workers in City Telecom (H.K.) Limited and 700 positions are left.

Wong would spend 2.6 billion on this project while 0.8 billion was spent on building up the television broadcast station which is the biggest one in Asia. He said that he is confident to produce good TV programs in the coming future.
