For the new free television licenses issued by the government, ATV applied for judicial review as it would weaken ATV’s competition [how?]. Chairman of CTI Ricky Wong, Wai-ki said this would not affect his operational plan; the new broadcasting TV station will start in October this year or January next year on schedule.

Young devil of telecommunications Ricky Wong, together with his production team, exchanged experiences with students in Hong Kong Shue Yan University today. He pointed out the Broadcasting Authority has already decided to licensing three more licenses, so he believes the judicial review is ATV’s delaying tactics. [Good explenation!]

“Our entire operation plan would not be changed because the station will not be broadcasted in the near future. Delaying is not a big deal.” He also said, the new station will provide free TV service for audience when started operation.

In order to dominate the market, Wong is building an Asia’s largest studios. He said, his TV station will be taken three core values: continue to improve; standing in front of others; and direct actions, as he hopes to create a miracle and new generation of the television industry.

Wong invested 800 million to construct an area of 219,679 square feet of television station with multimedia production center in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. He also said the transparent of the center is very high and welcomes the public and schools to visit their production center.
