Robert Chow: Democracy would be progressive

Robert Chow and Friends Limited’s chairman said that he supports freedom of speech but did not support Occupy Central, started by Benny Tai Yiu Ting, because it would paralyze traffic in Central.

Chow Yung said Tai did not have the power to guarantee or ensure the whole activity can be hold in a peaceful way. Chow said he was a passive person at first but later he found out that he should speak out as this issue would influence many people.,” I am helping Hong Kong but not saving it, I am not that great. But I would want to be the first one to step out and voice in order to ask Mr. Tai to stop his motion to confuse Hong Kong,” so he hope everyone should be involved in the issue and speak out their thoughts so that he would can see the progressive democracy in Hong Kong.

“As stated in the Basic Law, the Central Government has the right to appoint any people who are suitable to be the Chief Executive but he can also reject to do so,” said Chow. He also said it is time for people to overthrown Occupy Central. And to make the environment in Hong Kong become more stable.
