An official document disclosure the Government has established a working group against the Wang Chau Issue, it has approached many member-elect privately, the Government was involved in serious misleading and concealing the Legislative Council. The Member-elect of the Fifth Term Legco, Roy Kwong said, he needs an explanation from the government on this issue.


Roy Kwong is not sayisfied he has been used to mislead the citizens. He said the government informed him about the Wang Chau issue instead of consulting for his opinions, the government has already confirmed the campaign when he knew about it, Kwong said he didn’t know there were 3 private approaching to the other elected members in Legco. He said the government owns him an explanation after stated his name on the public document as he has agreed the campaign. ‘Hope I can disclose all the concealed document to the public and it will be my goal’.


As a Member-elect of the Legco, Roy said he would like to agglomerate all member in Legco,’ You have to be coherent while the Big Boss Is Leung Chun Ying’ He said he is now using different ways to break down the walls between the elected members from different political parties.


The private life of Kwong has been a question. He admit that there is someone who has been supported him for long, ‘ I will try my best to protect my beloved ‘ and he stated that it is his responsibility to make his beloved blessed and have a simple life. Someone asked whether it would be hard to protect his beloved as he is a public figure now. He laughed’ I would do it with all my might.’

Newly-elected lawmaker Roy Kwong Chun-yu vowed that he would use the legislature's special power to investigate the Wan Chau housing scandal.

Speaking at Shue Yan University's assembly, the romance novelist-turned-legislator pledged that he would invoke the Power and Privilege Ordinance to dig out the dirt leading to the government's decision on significantly scaling back the construction of public rental housing units in Wan Chau, Yuen Long.

Kwong, a member of the Democratic Party, received more than 491,000 votes in the Legislative Council election, earning the King of Votes nickname.
