(Question is a much better expression than wonder. You should explain what D-Day means in this context because D-Day is more commonly knows as the day the Allies forces mounted a surprise military campaign against the Nazi Germany in WW2. D-Day was on 06-06-1944 and the Allies forces landed on Normandy Beach. The key word here is "snub". Apparently Scholarism is displeased because Lai thinks Tai and his Occupy Central has deliberately snubbed the student activist group.)

Scholarism agrees Tai Yiu Ting’s concept of striving universal suffrage but not his tactics, said Lai Man Lok, the spokesperson of Scholarism.

Lai said that Scholarism had the same idea with Tai that Hong Kong needs universal suffrage. However, Lai wondered whether The Occupy Central movement was the right way to achieve the goal of democracy. Lai had participated the D-Day which was held by Tai and he was upset by the arrangement because the staff omitted Scholarism’s proposal of universal suffrage unreasonably. According to the past history, Lai thought that it was non-sense that teenage protesters need to get the approval from their parents before joining the Occupy Central Movement which was suggested by Tai.

“We are ideologically radical, but not behaviorally radical. We hope the public can understand us through the coverage of news comprehensively.” said Lai.

Scholarism was being accused that they become a group of people criticize in the city, Lai said that they are different. He suggested that Scholarism carried out their movements with their own political suggestions. They are not doing things with just violence acts solely. Lai stated they were just stand silently during the demonstration in the National Day. However, they were being picked up by some unrecognized securities. He worried that they were treated badly though they carried out activities peacefully.

Lai stated that they will make more booths to spread their proposal via distributing leaflets in Hong Kong 18 districts.--115089 2013年10月15日 (二) 18:20 (UTC)
