Henry Tang Ying-yen, the former Chief Secretary for Administration and a leading candidate of the chief executive election, has been criticized for improperly handling his extra-marital affair. The Public Affairs Manager of Power Assets Holdings Ltd, Esme Lau, disagreed with the critics, saying she admired Tang’s technique in handling the scandal when she was invited to a give a talk at Shue Yan University.

Tang confessed in a statement "I have strayed in my love life, and I feel deeply remorseful and guilty" after a magazine reported that he had an affair with his former assistant. After that, he never mentions(vt) the scandal again in public.

The public believes that Tang’s explanations are insufficient and condemns him for not facing the affair squarely. Some medias(have to be specific, name the media) even heckled Tang’s public relation team, as it did not provide (enough supporting for him?-edit, missing words and meaning is unclear) and should be responsible for the crisis(responsible in what sense? to the media? his family? the public?).

As a public affairs manager, Lau accepts Tang’s explanation. “Actually, I think Tang’s explanation is quite adequate. At least he has answered the most vital questions publics have concerned about. He is clever (to stop reply again-edit). If he explains more and more, his image might suffer as the affair itself is (not a good thing-avoid using vague language, such as good or thing),” said Lau.

During the talk, senior journalist Leung, Tin-wai claimed that Tang is unqualified to be a Chief Executive as he is unable to (settle-inap) the scandal. Lau disagreed with him. “It depends on individual’s level of satisfaction. Individuals are satisfied at different levels and it’s hard to gratify(inap) (satisfy would be the word to use) everyone,” replied Lau.

Your news angle is focused, however your article is not concise. Yes she admires his confession, what is admirable about it? Why does she support it as a PR professional? That is all you need to answer, along with a description of Tang's confession, which you have. The last paragraph makes your piece less focused, and does not allow you to end on a strong note.
