Sex and Foul are Human Culture

Ni Kuang and Lau Tin-chi were opened to the questions in the seminar of the Hong Kong Shue Yan University yesterday.
Ni, a famous author and Lau, experienced host in TV & radio, had the same idea on the sex and foul language. They proposed that these are the part of human culture.
Both Ni and Lau agreed that there are no format and criteria for writing. “It is sometimes necessary for writers to add foul language in their writing. It gives direct meaning and makes everyone understand easily.” said Ni and Lau.
On the incident of the Sex Column of the Chinese University Student Press, both Ni and Lau said that the authorities were eroding freedom of speech of Hong Kong. They claimed that it is absolutely not necessary to spark controversies over the society.
“If you feel embarrassed or uncomfortable, you can simply ignore it.” they said. They claimed that the citizens were too sensitive towards the issue.
“The sex is unavoidable that everyone including young people should have the chances to approach.” Ni explained his view.
Lau also purposed that it is appropriate to read pornography. They think that it is a pity to impose restrictions on a campus newspaper, but the students in charge are reality to face the incident.
