A trailblazer in numerous new media ventures, and the new CEO of DBC, Stephen Loh Chan came to the assembly of Hong Kong Shue Yan University yesterday.

As Mr Loh said, “Content is king”, DBC will give audience choose and diversity.7 channels were started to broadcast two days before,7 channels include 2mass channels of news and entertainment, one channel of financial channel, and also include Channels designed for
students, elderly and different races.

Mr Loh said DBC will attract the target audience in the coming 1 to 2 years.
Then they will focus the develop on internet and the apps to match the multi media development.
As the again population will increase in the coming years, Mr Loh believed that the radio market of the elderly would be great, so that DBC will start to provide more information to the
elderly through radio also.

To increase the audience of DBC, Mr Loh said one new initiative to expanding DBC's reach is to corporate with the supplier and to expand the coverage of DBC by installing the station's proprietary radio sets on taxis and minibus.
