To competition with other press, journalists always look for new method to speed up News publishing.“MoJo”, can be the new method of journalists to do reporting in a more efficient way with the lowest cost, mentioned by Stephen Quinn, Digital Development Editor, South China Morning Post.

“MoJo”, means to use smartphones in news reporting, which is common today. The equipment and time consume for the news reporting is less than using traditional reporting methods.

Digital Development Editor, South China Morning Post, Stephen Quinn explained that, ‘traditionally, doing a live broadcasting using hand-held camera and broadcast vans are very expensive, nearly $1million US. Smartphones are an all-in-one device with various functions builds in. The journalists no longer need to carry the heavy cameras and purchase the expensive equipment. Also, a smartphone just cost $5000HKD only.’ ((received))
