Tactics help Towngas to build up a positive image

Many companies and organizations are concern about the social responsibilities of the corporate as it is a new technique to gain reputation of the corporate. Miss Wong Sau Ying, Head of Corporate Communications of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Ltd. (Towngas), said that maintain a close relationship with the community is the way for corporate management.

Wong said that it is very important to maintain a good relationship between the corporate and community as effective management. Corporate has to pay more attention to the social news in order to eliminate all potential crisis of the corporate in the future.

In order to cope with these potential crises, Wong believed that well-preparation and precaution are the best ways to reduce harm. She said that check the schedule of Legislative Council meetings is a good way to see if there’s any issue related to gas company. “When there is problem arose, we can gather information quickly as we have to deal with government and media immediately.” She added.

Wong said, Towngas would organize exhibitions, competitions in schools and communities. Also, Towngas would invite other related companies to join the Towngas promotion. These tactics help the corporate to build up a positive image to customers.
