Tang’s Affair Not Settled

News among the suspected candidates for the Hong Kong Chief Executive (CE) election of 2012 has become a social hot topic. Public relation officers play a vital role for the election as they need to build up candidates’ images.

The former Chief Secretary for Administration, Henry Tang Ying-yen is widely expected to be a candidate for the coming CE election. His sex scandal has been spread for a year. He clarified his relationship between his wife and himself a few days ago.

Tang said that his wife forgave his mistake and he had apologized for having made it. However, during the general assembly at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, the senior journalist, LEUNG, Tin Wai pointed out that Tang did not have the ability to be a Chief Executive as he could not settle his affairs with political wisdom.

‘Unlike William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton (the former US President) and Edmund Ho Hau Wah (the former CE of Macau), Tang settled the scandal badly as the public still has a lot of questions about it,’ Leung added.

‘ It is difficult to have all-rounded solutions as there are different kinds of people with different (levels of satisfactory - ??? What does this mean?),’ replied the guest of the assembly, Esme Lau, the Public Affairs Manager (Media & Community) of Power Assets Holdings Limited.
