Tang Ying Yen, no sense for being a Chief Executive 18/10/2011 Cheung Kai Wing, Kevin 095096

Usually we heard about the words “PR” around the company and different communication media, but not so many people know exactly what a PR would have to do while facing troubles.

Esme Lau, the public affairs manager of Power Assets Holdings Ltd., shared her working experience to the students in Shue Yan University. She said one of the most important issues in public relations is crisis management, buy many PR fail to manage this area.

Whiling facing the questions asked by the students about Tang Ying Yen’s affairs and the PR strategy used by him, Lau believed that everyone will have different point of views while facing an issue. Professor Leung Tin Wai, the Department Head of Journalism and Communication in Shue Yan University showed different opinions.

‘Tang doesn’t have the ability to be the next Chief Executive in Hong Kong,’ said Leung. He added that while compared to the ways Bill Clinton and Ho Hou Hua solve their own affairs, Tang Ying Yen showed no ability and no political sense to handle being a Chief Executive. --095096 2011年10月18日 (二) 20:40 (UTC)
