The prospect of printed media had getting worse but not dead, Eva Lee Tsz-fan, Manager of Content from Bureau Corporate Affairs of Alibaba Group said printed media should change the pattern to help themselves survived.

Lee said printed media should not use paper only, but also developed video news, instant news even VR and AR.

Nowadays, people using social media to browse the news from facebook and welcome by young people’s instgram which was replaced printed. Lee said media should understand their reader’s taste and the market needs.

Media would use videos and photos from public as a news report which was a nice idea for media doing instant news. But Lee disagreed that professional reporters would be replaced by public reports due to professional reporters need to analysis the news angle which was public did not understand.

“We are not recorder,” Lee said.

Lee graduated from shue yan university and she told that students could find some parttime jobs during study as absorbed more experience in news reporters.
