The Financial Budget is Too Conservative

“We need a long-term plan for Hong Kong future, the financial budget cannot fulfill the expectation of our citizen.” says by Chiu Sir, Chiu Sin Chun, a well-known financial commentator. (good opening, need to include Chiu's credentials)


The latest financial budget was announced on 23rd by the Financial Secretary (name?). Many people thinks that the financial budget cannot help the poverty to improve their life. After the financial budget released, the opposing voices (comes-vt) out. Many people would like the government to carry out the effective policy to help the grass roots. Chiu Sin Chun, the famous financial commentator of the Now TV, criticized the financial budget when he attended a talk by Shue Yan University today.


“Being conservative is not bad, however the global economic situation is changing rapidly. Mr Tsang(the Financial Secretary) (no ()'s) should spend the money more wisely.” Chiu said the Government should have the long-term investment for our citizen instead of the short-term policy, such as iBond (define).


In recent years, the Government is focus on developing the financial sector and property. Chiu suggested that the Government ought to put more resource on cultivating high quality personnel in Hong Kong. “Developing the educational services and medical services is not an easy task, however, providing the tax concessions will be a encouragement.”
