Kenneth Chau, President of Technology Incubation Network attended Shue Yan University’s weekly meeting.

As the New York Times said that artificial intelligence (AI) replaced 50% of the work, Kenneth said that this is a fact, but he didn't believe that it can be completely replaced. He does not believe that the future artificial intelligence (AI) will replace many jobs, and it is considered that there is an exaggeration and technology is not a terrible thing, AI should not be afraid of technology, and it can be turned into an opportunity. He said AI can be applied to the application level. He also encourages young people to start their careers in entrepreneurship, and with courage, they can try more.

Kenneth Chau said that the general people in Hong Kong believe that the difficulty of creating science is talented people and the market, but it is actually not difficult. First of all, there are no talented people in Hong Kong who are willing to choose scientific research and study, but nowadays, many people are involved in the technology industry, whether they are local or foreign professionals. Secondly, for the market, there are only 7 million people in Hong Kong. He can use Hong Kong as the test base for research and development, and try to market success in other countries. And he encouraged young people who have the courage and ability to develop into a science. In 2016, he invited Kickstarter, the world's most popular platform to Hong Kong. The Kickstarter philosophy of the world's most popular platform is: have a good idea, but no money, take a short film to let the world crowdfunding to achieve their dreams. He said that more than 300 applicants in Hong Kong are now funded. As long as they have ideas, they can courage to raise funds, even young people.

Kenneth Chau said that the legal issue is not controlled by people in the scientific and technological research community. He hoped that the law can cope with the pace of technological development, ideally reduce the challenge of scientific research, and promote new technologies smoothly and quickly.
