Democratic Party lawmaker-elect Kwong Chun Yu, indicated he would invoke the Legislative Council (Powers and Privileges) Ordinance to investigate the housing issue in Wang Chau.

Kwong pointed it is vital to show the fact to the public in the problem of Wang Chau. Using the Legislative Council (Powers and Privileges) Ordinance to investigate this case was the best way to find the true, especially the government had unofficial meetings with the local powers.

Kwong, a member of the Democratic Party, received more than 491,000 votes in the Legislative Council election, earning the King of Votes nickname.
