Batgwa.com’s manager Gerry Ho attended the General Assembly of Shue Yan University. He shared his experience of how to be a journalist.

Gerry Ho, who started the web media two years ago, interviewed a lot of famous actors such as Juno, Janice and Justin.

In the Assembly, Gerry emphasized there are three rules for journalists to success. First, the journals should build up their contact book. More people in your contact book, more stories you will get. Gerry took two famous agencies in Britain as examples.

Second, journalists should keep their promises. Gerry said that the medias lack of trust. They always make their own stories for actors. Gerry blamed they damaged the relationship between journalists and actors.

Last but not least, journalist should be fearless. ”You should talk to everyone because you don’t know who will give you a story. Therefore every time you interview someone you should asked them in details and try to follow up each questions. Otherwise you will miss the opportunity to write a good story .If you are shy, don’t be a journalist.”
