Dr. Andy Cornish talked about the conservation of Chinese White Dolphin in Hong Kong and the natural environment concern. Overfishing is the most serious impact on the marine life in Hong Kong. Dr. Cornish mention that people consume too much large fish. The food cycle is destroyed. The further overfishing activities damaged the marine habitat. The marine organisms are forced to move away from the affected area. The numbers of marine organism is thus decreased.

To protect the natural environment of the sea of Hong Kong, restriction of fishing is adopted. There are four no-taking areas in Hong Kong. The sum of area of the marine parks and marine reserve is just 0.16% of Hong Kong waters. The plan helps conserving the marine wildlife of Hong Kong, and also the maintain the source of income of the fishermen. Since the number of fish decrease rapidly in the recent year, the fishermen catch less fishes than before. The only way to preserve fish stocks is to maintain the ecological cycle.
