Too much media violence!

The CEO of Chinetek Intelligence, Siu-wah Tsui stated out that there are too much violence in the media.

Tsui once was a reporter for many years, he has worked in different media sectors but mainly magazine. But then he resigned since of the disappointment to the media climate. He said that there are too much violence in the media, he reporting style of the Hong Kong media are contained a lot of sensation, amorous and bloody. “Nowadays most media are not purely reporting news but commenting news, even making news. And the news are tended to be full of sex or violence.” He explained

He said that when he first became a reporter, he wanted to work for the public, work for the society, and improve the climate of society through the media power. But since of the marketing leading of the media, the position of journalists become unclear, those of the ethic can not be maintain at all.“If I can choose again, I must not choose the journalism for my major.”said Tsui.

Although Tsui are unpleasant about the media , but he still encouraged students to prepare themselves as a good reporter for the future.
