After the election of President of America, everyone knows that the Posts and media gives important opinion to the society. Chris C. Anderson, Senior Editor of “Huffington Post” today expressed in Shue Yan University that the role of electric media becomes essential gradually. A well-equiped operation of online journalism leads to a successful media platform. Otherwise, audience can not follow.

Building a multi-functional platform

When comparing to “Washington Post” or “New York Times”, Anderson said “Huffington Post” focus on providing multiple news sources, like news, bloggers, popular videos and politic issues, etc. Anderson also introduced the online platform of “Huffington Post”. It contains highly trained moderation team, multi language blogging, effective opinion filter and free electronic magazine. Anderson claimed that “Huffington Post” has its unique function – Highlight which could be used by audience to select news content to share to social media. As “Huffington Post” is connected with Social media like, Facebook and Twitter, subscriber of “Huffington Post” could upload breaking news immediately. “Huffington Post” can also receive some valuable news from bloggers.

Not easy to operate But is a chance to succeed

When asking the difficulty in implication of online journalism, Anderson confessed that online news is a breakthrough idea but if it is too digitalized, not all audience can adapt to it. Anderson explained that he saw the trend of more and more publication shifting from printed media to online platform. So, Anderson prefer received a quantity of message from the social media and bloggers.
