When comes to the competition with others organization, DBC contains no fear, as its CEO Loh Chan believes that “content is the king”. According to Loh, actually the programming method of the Commercial Radio Hong Kong is relatively focusing; meanwhile DBC is aiming the mass majority.


DBC contains up to 7 channels, which is the organization that consists of the most channels. The first and the second channel are aiming the mass majority, Loh said. The content includes news, political, analysis, maternity and all sort of information that close to the majority’s lives. The second channel is aiming the 10 thousands of professional customers, for instance, the investors, banks, fund managers.


According to Loh, a taxi would have around 50 transactions that approximately bring 20 thousands of customers a day. That is to say, our potential customers can reach 100 thousands. As mentioned by Loh, DBC is aiming the mass majority, in order to bring a great diversity, one of the channels serves a series of language for the sake of taking care of the minority in the society, for example, Indonesia, Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan and Nepal.


Also, to merge with the trend of the market, DBC has bought a program overseas; one of the channels would play K pop music for 2 hours a day.


The programs in different channels are still editing. The latest program list would be released in October.
