Tai Yiu-ting, the co-founder of the Occupy Central civil disobedience movement, said at Hong Kong Shue Yan University today that he just want to seek consensus among different parties on the society thought deliberation day.

“We should release the idealprogram and choose the most acceptable scheme,” Tai said.

He mentioned that the difference of the power of China authority and Hong Kong citizens is significant that the problem cannot be solved. “This political movement can narrow the difference, and the deliberation day is the weapon” said Tai. Deliberation day is a discussion that gathers different parties on the society and everyone has the right to speak which can seek the consensus. “The positional activity (viewpoint) of people is different, deliberation day is a good opportunity for people to consider which program is the most acceptable for society, which means people have to give up their ideal program in order to seek a balance,” Tai further explained.

Occupy Central is a kind of Civil disobey(n) which means civil apply a series of instruments, even illegal activities, to express the feeling of injustice. "We are not aim at Occupying Central," said Tai. He is going to launch a series of instruments and he hopes that more and more Hong Kong people are willing to participate these programs in order to strengthen the bargaining power with Chinese government.
