Art Director of Singtao Group said that “Kuso” should be supported as a part of freedom of speech, at a student seminar in University.

Danny Wong, Art Director of Singtao Group said that, the nature of “Kuso” itself is good, and it’s common to have teasing contents in other countries and it is an important part of freedom of speech.

“Kuso”, as a Japanese word, used in Asia meaning the internet culture of camp and parody, which involve collaborative modifications of existing materials.

Wong said that as long as there isn’t big hurt on the concerned celebrity is fine. He added that it’s not easy to define the impact, but modifying photos materials in general is acceptable. Wong said the important thing is the balance between humor and news truth.

To some political “Kuso” on the chief executive CY Leung, Wong said that it’s related to the social atmosphere, which many are not satisfied CY and “Kuso” is the way to express their thought. Wong said that it’s like the “Big Posters” at the past, but changed to image form from time being.
