'I don’t think in my life time Chinese will replace English' Steve said.

Dr.steve wallace, who is the founder of the Wallace Academic Editing, Steve think that the possibility for Chinese become international language is very low since he found Chinese hard to learn. And compare to English, chinese is much slower to learn as there are millions words, it is hard to teach people how to read.

IELTS test ask for a lot of big word, Steve think it can benefit student in writing. “Some vocabulary we never use in speak, but it will help student write article. Steve mentioned the situation that most student would like to use new vocabulary. Students are very concern their sentence look different to the last one. The main goal for writing academic paper is to express ideas, it’s not necessary to use beautiful words.

Comparing students from Mainland, Taiwan, Steve think that Mainland students are extremely aggressive about learning.Taiwan students are little more shy. “A lot of errors come from transferring in Chinese”, Steve said. He think that kind of mistakes in Taiwan are Similar to Hong Kong.
