Entrepreneurs must be prepared to pay “learning fees” when they start a business in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, says a founder.

According to the survey of Mainland, the success rate of entrepreneurship in the Mainland is less than 5%.

The survey shows that the risk of start a business in Mainland is extremely high.

“You should prepared to pay “learning fee” when you started a business in Greater Bay Area,”said Rocky Yu, the founder, and director of QianHai Gangjunda Shenzhen Business Service Co-Limited.

“I feel pity for those entrepreneurs who paid a lot of money and gave up so early when they experienced some difficulties,” Yu said.

Yup added that failure was just a process of starting a business, people should keep learning from failures and find their own patterns of success.

“Why don’t you stick to it when you spend a lot of money to start a business?” Yu said.

Yu said that young people can start a business only if they had five years of work experience and they should not start a business alone.

“I will recommend young people start a business together with middle-aged people as they can complete each other,” Yu said.

Yu added that middle-aged people had life experience, resources and connections, which can help young people to start their own business.

Yu said that he never thought that Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a perfect place as it just a package and it have advantages and disadvantages.

“ For example, the living places of ShenZhen is large and people have low life pressures in ShenZhen,” Yu said.

Yu added that Mainland have their unfair regulations but people live in Hong Kong also face unfair situations sometimes. “People like the good side of Great Bay area but you must also accept the bad side of it,” Yu said.
