"If the product design is a failure, it is no use selling advertisements," said Ivan So, Tsz-Yin, many people always asked about how to start a "start-up" company, So said the reputation is the best promotion and advertisement.


Ivan So, the founder of ZIZSOFT Limited. He has more than 10 years of entrepreneurial experience and full of business strategies knowledge. Their company starts from product concept, establishment, recruitment and then form a team to raise funds then sell the business. So also participated some fund-raising review and competition as a judge.


The most difficult thing to deal with a start-up company is the pricing of the product. So pointed out that the market should price it. Many software provided a free version, but some key features are hidden in the premium version then users can purchase the premium version to fully liberated, that strategy used most of the values of the software to attract the potential customers.


So mentioned the concept of “A-B Test”: The company will be divided the target customer into two groups, offering a different price for each group. For example, the home users will pay $50 per month while the commercial users are $100. After the expiration, they will observe the number of sign-up in two groups, adopting the better group as the pricing.


“This is used to maximize the profit of our company, it is useless to think that “you are the best”,” said So. He explained that price is not a concern if your product can solve your client’s problems. The market reaction will direct and test the price point.
