Yau pointed out that, many countries are practicing GST and the tax can be easily accessed. He said, this tax would be very stable tax income for the government as everyone would buy goods and enjoy the service from the shop. He added, the taxation will be charged when goods are sold, it is fair to everyone.

Yau the Budget by the government estimated that there will be a structural deficit in 2019, the discussion on GST should be started as soon as possible. He added it is not fair, which is the basic principle of levying taxes, as only tourists travelled by land have to pay the tax.
