Nuclear Energy Not P.A.H.L. Approach

By Chloe Chiu

HKSYU, OCT 18- The public affairs manager (Media & Community) in Power Assets Holdings Ltd. Esme Lau announced nuclear energy is not an option for the company and revealed that the ‘Offshore Warmfarm’ research is still ongoing. (great first sentence)

The leakage of nuclear energy in Japan has recently raised global attention on the issue of power safety. ‘As I know, the scientific research of atomic energy in P.A.H.L. is not in progress and was not given any thought’

Lau explained accident caused by nuclear energy plant rarely happen in Hong Kong but seminars are regularly held to discuss crisis communication (menu?) between cooperators for safety.

She continued on to say that it is more ‘preferable’ to have a ‘careful’ look into wind power. ‘Constructing an offshore windfarm is our future plan and about 28 to 35 windmills (are proposed to build-careful here-who is proposing what to whom-rewrite last part).’

The testing and research are currently conducted in Hebei and Dali however P.A.H.L. predicts to invest more if it is workable (when using however, one clause contradicts the other-is that the case in this sentence-if not, how would you correct it?).

Good job Chloe,

Your article is short and to the point, giving all the information a busy reader has time to take in. You simply need to correct the few grammar mistakes.
