November 13, 2012 -- Online media will replace printed media, said Chris C. Anderson, senior editor at the Huffington Post, as the news industry focuses more on online media.

Anderson said that because of the importance of the internet, printed media would benefit more by concentrating on online media. For example, Newsweek, is developing its online media.

Anderson claims that there are many new technologies, and they need to face it and make it to be the new generation of news media.

Anderson said that a reporter needs to be fast and quick. The most essential thing that reporter need to do is post the news quick, keep the timeliness. But Anderson also said online media wouldn’t have the crazy deadline, because online would be more flexible, they can post it anytime, anywhere. The other thing that reporter need to know is how to use photoshop, and Anderson suggest that all reporters need to take a few classes to understand how to use photoshop.
