Experienced financial journalist described the previous Quantitative Easings as "high blood pressure pills" to the global economy.

Tim Chan, the executive chief editor of Hong Kong Economic Journal explained QEI and QEII are not effective measures to solve the economic problems in the world, especially in the America; however, they act like "high blood pressure pills" for aged patients. "The drugs cannot cure the illness, but they can maintain a the blood pressure of the patients at a certain level." Chan said.

"Some people criticize that the economy in America has not improved at all, such as the unemployment rate is unchanged, but then the sales of iPhone is still very strong. Therefore, It is hard to judge whether the QEI and QEII are good or not." Chan expressed.

Chan believed that , except purchasing US national debt, there is no better investment for other countries. As a result, currency around the world would be flown into the US market under the latest QEIII.
