Chairman of HKTV attended an assembly at Hong Kong Shue Yan University saying the government dare not to point out HKTV rank third in the statement yesterday.

“It is clear that the statement is aiming at HKTV,” Ricky Wong Wai-kay commented on the statement right after it was released. He added that the government did not lie in the document but "HKTV came third among applicants” was not mentioned either.

Wong emphasized it was obvious that there was "someone" who denied his application but not the Central Government. “He chose some parts to show. But if I do the same, I will be regarded as misleading. I think the government is pretty barbarian,” said Wong.

“They stamped ‘confidential’ on the documents. But I did not make any verbal promises or sign on any agreements to pledge not to reveal the content. However, I would make the government to disclose the entire documents, morally. I am still thinking about what to do next,” said Wong.

Wong felt pessimistic about the Legislative Council vote scheduled for Wednesday. He told that Powers and Privileges Ordinance has been modified too much that it became useless as LegCo documents and classified documents would not be allowed to read.
