Tik Tok have 250 million number of use. The big change after Tik Tok appeared which is youth feel interest on old things, Tik Tok planning director says.

“After we cooperate with the museum of history, youth interest to visit the museum," ByteDance Ltd, Tik Tok Planning Director of South China, Patton Chen said at Hong Kong Shue Yan University today.

Tik Tok cooperated with a part of museums of history in China on last year museums day which mixed cultural relics with popular music and different filters as a video posted on Tik Tok, he added.

"A researcher told me that before the video, young people don't like to go museum because it was an old things and not matched with this generation," he said.

After last year video, more and more young people like to went to the museum and they bought tickets and visited, he added.

"They want to know about the background of the cultural relics and more concerned traditional culture of China," he said.

"This is special of Tik Tok which can let old things turn back to be popular and become a new use," he added.

Tik Tok had a recommended feature which through content of the video, video maker and the location of user posted video provide some related tags and launch information, he said.

Chen said Tak Tok had a idea to invite user became App designers because they can design what user want.

"A popular effect which do face evaluation was designed by one of our user in last year," Chen said.

Tik Tok is short music creator and social app that can shoot short videos, it was launched in September 2016 and provided a platform for young people community share music short video.

In 2018, Tik Tok over 200 million views, and the average of using time was 31 minutes. People using Tik Tok average was 5 times a day. The downloads more than Facebook and Instagram.
