Will the extramarital affair affect (affect in what way?)Henry Tang Ying-yen to be the next Chief Executive? Esme Lau, the experienced public affairs manager, remains neutral while Professor Leung Tin Wai, Department head of Journalism and Communication, holds a negative view.

According to the HKU Pop Site, among 533 interviewed citizens, 29% of them will vote for Leung Chun-ying as the next Chief Executive while only 15% will vote for Henry Tang Ying-yen. Robert Chung Ting-yiu, the Director of Public Opinion Programme (POP) at the University of Hong Kong, said the low polling of Tang is due to the public's aberration towards his affair.

Since then, Tang has clarified(inap) his relationship with his wife, claiming that she is his life-long mate, and apologizes for his mistakes. Despite this, the public is still concerned about his infidelity. (However, an experienced public affairs manager, Esme Lau, commented that (at the view of a normal citizen?), she thinks Tang has already explained publics’ doubt.) (~)

“The curiosity and questioning of the public will never end. How much do we expect him to tell us?” Esme said, “The way he responded to the public is enough.”

She also appreciated the bravery of Tang, saying that one’s personality can be highly influenced by how brave he is (what is the message here? that his bravery make him a good person?). She thought Tang has worked hard to handle this scandal appropriately.

Professor Leung Tin Wai, the Department head of Journalism and Communication in Shue Yan University, didn’t support her view and said Tang is definitely not the right one to be the next Chief Executive.

"Unlike the former US president, William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton, and the former Chief Executive of Macau, Edmund Ho Hau-wah, Tang handled the scandal badly" Leung added.

Will Henry Tang be the next Chief Executive? We will find out next year.

Your article needs a different title as it seems to be dealing more with the disagreement between Professor Leung and Esme Lau, than with whether Tang will be elected. The part about the polls(which was very good-a refreshing piece of information, that is valuable to the reader) is the only concrete example that serves your title. I suggest you refine your angle to include the two opposite points of view, or remain with the same angle and add more relevant information about the election.
